In this episode of the Single Mother Survival Guide Podcast, Julia chats with single mum Maureen Pound. Maureen is an IVF single mother by choice with two children, and a successful business owner and coach.
Julia and Maureen discuss the path Maureen went on in deciding to become a single mum by choice, what went down when she and her children met the sperm donor, managing a successful business whilst raising two children with little support, tinder date tracking spreadsheets and so much more.
Maureen is a very funny, open, relatable, and amazing woman, and is hilarious and a delight to listen to.

In this episode of the Single Mother Survival Guide Podcast, I chat with single mum Rosemary. It's an incredible story of courage.
We talk about Rosemary's story of becoming a single mum - the hurdles that she crossed in deciding to end the relationship, and how she came to the decision that leaving was the best option for her and her daughter. We also talk about how she found her feet and redefined herself and her expectations of future relationships, what the whole experience taught her daughter and teaching her daughter to make decisions that empower her through role modeling those actions herself, the stigma that it's better for kids if their parents are together, and the benefits and challenges she has come across in becoming a single parent.
This is a really amazing and insightful discussion and one of my favourite conversations to date.
