She is a trained art educator, with a Bachelor of Art Education, majoring in Educational Psychology, and a registered art therapist with a Masters in Art Therapy. She has published a thesis on the benefits of working with clay and children with anxiety disorders. Over the past ten years she has worked with kids and teens with a range of emotional and behavioural problems, and most recently worked with children from domestic violence backgrounds.
Anna is also the founder of Mama Creatives which is about building a supportive and collaborative community for creative mothers to connect and flourish. And she’s also a single mum and she's on the show this week to share her story. Julia and Anna discuss the following points.

Just a few weeks after Rosanna found out she was pregnant, she was diagnosed with cancer and shortly afterwards, her partner left her. He moved out of their home whilst she was interstate and she never saw him again. Her life was turned upside down.
Although encouraged to terminate her unborn child, Rosanna carried on with her pregnancy and started treatment to fight for her and her unborn child's life.
This is her story.
In this episode of the Single Mother Survival Guide Podcast, Rosanna shares how she dealt with becoming a single mother and having cancer during pregnancy, cancer treatment throughout and after pregnancy, how cancer changed her, what she learned through her experience, her identity struggles, how she copes having an ex partner who has zero involvement with her daughter and how she intends to explain the situation to her daughter. Rosanna also shares her advice for new single mums, her advice for anyone going through cancer, and what she loves the most about being a single mum.
